Voluntary Benefits
Many employers provide employees with insurance protection for medical and phamacy. Some employers may add dental, vision or alternative care benefits. There are some employers that also provide short term disability, long term disability, life insurance, long term care, retirement plans and more. There are still many people that do not have protection they need for lost wages due to injury or illness, medical bills and living expenses, COBRA premiums and much more.
Many of these losses can easily covered with voluntary benefit programs. The voluntary market is an affordable way people to get cash in the event they are off work from injury or illness, insurance deductibles, and many other expenses related to illness or time off the job.
